Equip a point for receiving repair orders - if a repair shop is already at your disposal, it is advisable to take orders in the same place where you will then fulfill them. You can create a workshop both at home and by renting a small basement in a multi-storey building. There should be a landline telephone at the point of receiving orders, as customers will sometimes call before they come to you personally to find out the details.

Pick up all the necessary equipment for work, guided by your experience and what types of work are most in demand. You need to buy any professional equipment, starting from specific practice - usually each master himself knows perfectly well what he may need. Therefore, it is best to first get the tools that you need to work specifically, and then acquire new ones, in consultation with other masters, whom you will attract to work in your workshop.

Gather a database of suppliers of spare parts and accessories for those types of household appliances that you will repair. Try to have access to several suppliers of parts of the same profile at once - you should not have any interruptions in obtaining the necessary components, otherwise it will be difficult to compete with other nearby workshops. One of the factors very important for customers is the speed with which you complete an order for the repair of one or another type of equipment.

Find among your friends one or two specialists who could make up a team of craftsmen and help you fulfill incoming orders. It’s best that the workshop will feature craftsmen specializing in different areas (audio and video equipment, refrigerators, irons and other electrical appliances, etc.). To take orders by phone, you can use one of your female relatives (so that the masters do not have to constantly be distracted by working with clients themselves).
