How to publish a magazine

You can evaluate the quality of the services provided by the printing house by its products. And in order to find out the price, you will need to contact her by phone or e-mail and ask to calculate the cost of services based on your source data. To do this, the printing house must know the circulation, the number of pages, their size (A4, A4 +, A5, etc.), they are full-color, black and white, the method of fastening (by paper or gluing), the requirements for the paper on which the cover will be printed and internal pages.

Also find out what requirements are presented to the layout, at what time the printing house should receive it in order to print the print run by the right date, when you can pick up the print run and whether you need to pay for its storage, if so, how much, or when you need to pick it up so as not to pay.

Prepare the magazine layout according to the technical requirements of the printing house. Usually, along with the electronic version, all pages in printed form are needed, each with an indication of the date of delivery of the number and the signature of the person in charge (editor-in-chief or another representative).

Some printers accept scanned copies of bands.

Take the finished layout to a print shop or send it over the Internet.

Pay for its services in accordance with your agreements: it can be full or partial prepayment, the option of invoicing upon the provision of the service is also common.

You just have to wait until the circulation is printed and dry, pick it up and send it through your distribution channels.
