Due to various circumstances, it may be necessary to close an IP - a voluntary decision of an entrepreneur, court order, bankruptcy, death of an individual entrepreneur. Stopping the IP is not as difficult as it might seem.

Carry out the procedure for the dismissal of employees and their deregistration in the pension fund.

Write a statement to close the IP - for this, download the application form from the website of the Federal Tax Service - http://www.nalog.ru/gosreg/reg_fl/form_indpr/. Assure him of a notary public.
In the event of the closure of the IP, forcibly, by a court decision, the court will send copies of the decisions to the registration authority, which will enter the relevant data into the register.

In addition to all of the above, a copy of the TIN assignment certificate is required (the TIN is indicated in the application) and the applicant’s passport or a notarized copy of it, the OGRNIP certificate and an extract from the Unified State Register of Insurance Entities obtained upon registration as an IP.

Terminate contracts with state and non-governmental organizations and funds.
Submit tax reports and social security returns. In order to terminate the contract with the social insurance fund, provide receipts for the payment of insurance premiums.
Obtain a certificate of absence of debt from the pension fund, if there is one, pay it off.

In the address bar of the browser, enter the address of the Federal Tax Service website in the format: www.rAA.nalog.ru, where AA is the number of your region. In the regional section of the site, find the contacts of your tax office - there you need to hand over the collected package of documents.

After completing all operations, close the current account and receive a document of closure.
Together with the collected documents, send the seal to the registration authority, where it will be destroyed in the manner prescribed by law.

Five working days from the date of submission of documents, you will receive documents confirming the closure of the IP.

Liquidation of IP does not contribute to the termination of obligations. For example, if an individual entrepreneur had debts that were not closed during operations, then counterparties have the full right to present an invoice for payment of existing debts. The applicant will have to pay them even if the activities of the individual entrepreneur have long been terminated.
Useful advice
You can send documents to close the IP by mail with a valuable letter with a description of the attachment and notification of delivery. Then the day of filing the documents will be the day on which the documents go to the tax office.
