How to open a non-governmental educational institution

Many parents would like their children to receive a full education not in a regular, but in a private school. Opening a LEU is not difficult, it is much more difficult to gain a reputation as a truly worthwhile institution. The same can be said of training centers, which also usually have such legal status.

Explore the educational services market in your city and decide whether you will open a private school or training center.

Develop the charter of your future educational institution, taking into account all legislative acts and, first of all, the Federal Law "On Education". Make a business plan.

Register with the tax authorities an individual entrepreneur or legal entity and get statistics codes indicating the type of activity (educational services). Open a bank account. Make and register the seal.

Rent a room depending on whether you plan to open a school or a training center. The building of the former kindergarten in a residential area is best suited for these purposes, however, for the training center, parking for vehicles will also be necessary, since usually not the poorest people are engaged in paid courses. Organize the premises in strict accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor to get positive opinions from the fire and sanitary services.

Decide whether you will develop your curriculum or take advantage of existing ones. Remember that your programs must be written by professional educators and approved by the Ministry of Education.

Purchase all necessary equipment, scientific and educational materials, furniture. Start building a library, for which you conclude agreements with publishers.

Make a staffing list and announce a competition for filling the vacant positions of teachers. Do not forget that you will need an accountant, medical staff and security. Register in extra-budgetary funds (MHIF, FSS, PFR).

Obtain an educational services license from the Department of Education. You will need the following documents:

- certificate of registration of a legal entity;

- charter and constituent documents;

- statistics codes;

- certificate of registration with the tax authorities;

- bank statement;

- certificates of registration with extrabudgetary funds;

- certified copies of the passports of the founders and teachers;

- certified copies of educational programs;

- information about the provision of the educational process with the necessary equipment and literature;

- information about the room.

Contact the UFRS for the registration of LEU in one of the forms of non-profit organization prescribed by law. You will need the following documents:

- certificate of registration of a legal entity;

- license for educational activities;

- charter and constituent documents;

- statistics codes;

- certificate of registration with the tax authorities;

- bank statement;

- certificates of registration with extrabudgetary funds;

- certified copies of the founders' passports.
