How to get an apiary

Breeding bees with the subsequent collection of honey and its sale is a rather profitable business, however, the main difficulty of beginning beekeepers is the problem of apiary design.

To register an apiary, register as a private entrepreneur. Decide on the place where you plan to organize the apiary, and if there is such an opportunity, find this place on the map. If the apiary will be in the forest - contact the forester for help in collecting all documents.

If you do not want an apiary in the forest, contact the district department of land relations. Indicate that you need to rent a land plot and indicate where it is located (the employees of the district department have their own detailed map of your area).

Write a request for a land plot for your own needs for free urgent use. Attach a notarized copy of your passport to the application. If there is no notary public - a copy of the passport must be certified by the administration of the rural settlement.

Also, prepare information about the land plot: its characteristics and scheme (for this, use the services of a surveyor), as well as data on the burden of the plot (that is, how it is already used or how it is planned to be used in the future). Provide all this at the place of circulation (to the forestry department or to the regional department of land relations).

If, after consideration of the application, a decision is made to allocate a site for your use, sign the corresponding contract. If the contract is signed for more than a year, it is subject to state registration.

If you have any questions, contact the regional department. There they will tell you what to do, given the local specifics. Remember also that a lot depends on the land you choose.

It takes quite a lot of time to complete an apiary: it may take a year or more from the moment of contacting officials to the full conclusion of a lease.

Before collecting documents for the selected site, check with the district department of land relations whether bee breeding is allowed on it and whether it is planned to use it for other needs, for example, for construction.
