Remember that the first thing you should start with when choosing a name for a radio is the topic. Suppose your radio station specializes in classical music. Then the name must be chosen accordingly. A word like "Energy" of such a radio station is hardly suitable. Perhaps it is worth using some kind of musical term, the name of the composer or performer of classical music, variations on the word "classical", etc. Also, the situation is with other topics.

Try searching for other options. Perhaps your radio station does not specialize in any one musical or other genre (there are, for example, radio stations where only literary works are read), but all its content is connected by some general mood. Then maybe something like radio "Melancholy" or, for example, radio "Positive".

Use a pun. For example, in one well-known series, the radio station was called Radio Active. You can come up with something like that.

Imagine clearly your target audience. Who will it be - teenagers up to twenty years old or women of Balzac age? The name should attract them. It is unlikely that young people will be attracted to a radio called "Nostalgia." By the way, if the target audience of the radio is young people, then it makes sense to use a foreign language name. But it can push away the more adult audience. Children's radio does not have to be called “Sun”, after all, half of the kindergartens in our country are called in this way. Nevertheless, the name should be fun, joyful and easy to remember.

Think about which region or city your radio station will broadcast to. You can name it according to geographic location. Examples of such stations are Ekho Moskvy or the nonexistent Peter FM station from the movie of the same name.

Do not despair if all ideas have been exhausted, and the name cannot be picked up. Give the radio your name. This was done, for example, by the beloved Alla Pugacheva, who called her radio station Radio Alla.
