For people employed, the system for obtaining a compulsory health insurance policy is simple and understandable - some time after official employment, an employee may receive this document in the personnel department. Contact the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund at the place of registration. It is indicated in the registration documents of an individual entrepreneur and often corresponds to his home address. Find the coordinates of the department of the fund on its website. Go to the section "Territorial funds of the MHI", select your subject of federation from the list. By clicking on the link corresponding to it, you will see the address and telephone numbers of the regional branch of the fund.

Come to the fund with a passport and certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur. There you will need to obtain a certificate of registration with the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (MHIF).
If you have already sent the corresponding certificate by mail from the MHIF, then you do not need to re-apply there.

With the received document, contact one of the insurance companies providing compulsory health insurance services. According to the new law that has entered into force, you can choose one of several companies. Conclude an insurance service agreement with her.
You can find a list of insurance companies with coordinates on the websites of some regional branches of the MHIF, for example, on the MHIF portal of St. Petersburg. An individual entrepreneur should not pay any additional deductions after completing the policy. The necessary insurance contributions to the Federal Health Insurance Fund are already included in the tax that it must pay regardless of the use of the policy.
